The Group recognises that it is essential to build and develop the core competencies and skills of its employees, and to recruit and retain the best and brightest talent in the regions in which it operates, in order to maintain its current growth and expertise. Maintaining employee motivation and teamwork is recognised by the Board as being essential to achieving the Group’s business objectives and delivering its performance goals.
Health & safety
The Group actively promotes a strong safety culture, striving to instil safe working principles in every employee, every activity and every facet of our business. Whilst the Chief Executive Officer (supported by the Director of QHSE and Business Systems) has overall responsibility for Health and Safety policies and procedures across the Group, the Company demands that each operating business and each employee carries responsibility for their own personal safety, thus creating collective responsibility for ensuring health and safety standards are met and continually improved on.
The Group's activities can be summarised as largely manufacturing/assembly operations, combined with office-based research, product development and other commercial functions, where we essentially receive materials and products from suppliers, assemble them into a new product and despatch them to customers.
Ethics and compliance
The Group is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, recognising its obligations, towards the parties with whom the Group has business dealings including customers, shareholders, suppliers and advisors.
We remain focused on supporting young people in the field of engineering and technology and ex-military personnel, as well as the community within which we operate.
The Group is keen to take its part in building a workforce fit for tomorrow.
